Yoga - Mind, Body & Soul


The word "yoga" - from the Sanskrit root yuj ( "to yoke") - is generally translated as "Union" or "integration". It means integration of body, soul and spirit. It? S goal is attainment of liberation from worldly suffering and the cycle of death. The common form of yoga is the practice of concentration and meditation. It also emphasizes posture and breathing. Ashtanga Yoga - Also known as Power Yoga. It? S The system of yoga taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. It literally means "eight-limbed yoga," the path of internal purification for revealing the Universal Self. It consists of eight spiritual practices:

Niyama [self-purification and study]

The main difference of this style of yoga to other styles emphasize vinsaya, which is the union of movement and breathing. This intense purifies the heart muscle and organs, expelling unwanted toxins and release minerals and hormones that nourishes the body when the seat back is massaged into the skin.

Ashtanga is a sequence of three groups:

1. Yoga Chikitsa is the first series that detoxifies and aligns the body.

3. Sthira Bhaga is the Advance A, B, C or D. This requires a high level of flexibility and humility. It integrate the strength and grace of the practice. Each series should be practiced and developed carefully before proceeding to the next. They are always performed in conjunction with each other.



Iyengar Yoga - Was created by B.K.S Iyengar. It has been recognized worldwide as a genius and creativity in the art of yoga. This type of yoga is the most widely recognized approach to Hatha Yoga. He is known for his use of props such as belts and blocks, as aids in performing asanas (poses). It is firmly based on the eight limbs of yoga as expounded by traditional Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras, emphasizing the development of strength, endurance, flexibility and balance, as well as concentration (Dharana) and Meditation (Dyane).

Iyengar Yoga is characterized by great attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment. With the focus of an alignment? S mind is focused on action and the feeling of the pose and it is natural to become stronger and resulted in yet. Iyengar strengthen the weak and stiff areas to stretch.

Anusara Yoga - was founded by John Friend in 1997, It? Yoga modern SA, a powerful system that unifies a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness with universal principles of alignment.
It is the most popular and fastest growing yoga styles in the world.
Anusara is a Sanskrit word which was in tenth century Kashmiri Tantric scripture. It can be literally translated as "flowing with grace". There will be aware of all parts of ourselves as light and darkness, the full rainbow of sensation, perception, emotion, and thought.
To be in flux is watching everything that occurs in the freshness and freedom. It is simply open our hearts to love the present moment without clinging or pushing. It is accepting the world and ourselves that we are, and then respond with love. Anusara Yoga looks around three elements of practice that are characteristic of yoga: attitude, alignment and action.

The highest intention of practicing Anusara Yoga is to align the flow of Grace, to be in flux is watching everything that occurs in the freshness and freedom and to know the truth that our essential nature is part This divine love flow and take advantage of this flow.
